Artist Bio
Stefania Moretti explores the possibilities of photography by deliberately “glitching” the panoramic mode on her phone. Whenever she encounters a place that inspires her, she uses movements that vary in speed, direction, and angle to exploit the quirks of technology and transform reality into a kind of lucid dream—sometimes celestial, sometimes delirious. Through this process, her images seek to reveal an entirely new way of seeing the world, like an epiphany.
Statement
MELANCHOLY OF LATE SUMMER DAYS
The series traces the melancholy of late-summer days, when light turns soft, heavy, and quietly apocalyptic. Memory reshapes these moments, making them at once beautiful and unsettling, suspended between tenderness and loss. Each image lingers in that fragile threshold where emotion intensifies and time seems to slow.
