Statement
Photographed in Almeria, on the Mediterranean coast of southern Spain, this ongoing series approaches the landscape as a psychological threshold. The Mediterranean shore creates a territory suspended between reality and fiction, appearing as a boundary onto which fears, desires and fragmented memories are projected. The work reflects on hesitation, the passage into adulthood and the distance between the futures we imagine and those we eventually inhabit. It stops at the moment when one reaches the edge of something and doubts whether to cross.
