Artist Bio
Ludovica Ventimiglia is a 27-year-old Italian-born photographer currently based in Berlin. She completed her photography studies at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, in 2024. Since graduating, she has been working as an interior design and fine art photographer in Berlin. Her collaborations include Vitra, Bildband Berlin, St Vincents Antwerp, as well as a number of small galleries and ateliers across Germany and the Netherlands.
Statement
ESTATE ITALIANA
Estate Italiana, it depicts a typical summer afternoon at the beach close to where I grew up. I decided to use both bright and soft tones to give the works a nostalgic vibe; the photos remind me so well of what summer always looked like for me as a child and still now, whenever I visit back my home country.
