About

Albertha Lleshdedaj is the founder of Noire Journal, an independent platform dedicated to contemporary art, presenting emerging and established artists. With a background in fashion design studies at the Callegari Italian School of Fashion & Design, experience working with galleries in art sales, and acting experience in theatre, her work reflects a long-standing interest in visual culture and artistic expression.

We present a curated selection of artists, makers, designers, and spaces that value craft, atmosphere, and visual clarity.

Our aim is to highlight work that carries a strong sense of identity — whether through material, form, or narrative. We are interested in practices that resist fast trends and favour longevity.

Noire Journal features independent creatives across disciplines, including visual art, ceramics, photography, interior design, film, writing, and spatial design.

We prioritise thoughtful selection over volume. Each project is chosen for its character, integrity, and lasting relevance.

Founded by an independent creative exploring the relationship between objects, space, and everyday aesthetics.
