Artist Bio
Imogen Rose is an analogue photographer living in Paris. Her work centres the small ephemeral details in everyday life, from the shadows at play on a building to the sweeping cycle of the seasons expressed in the trees. She hopes that it will make people pause to reconsider the elements that make up each of their days, their commutes, the walks with their dogs. Opening new eyes to a place which already felt known.

GATHERED
Taken in Marseilles and Barcelona this series highlights small details in everyday life. From reflections of clouds upon the sea to washing hung out to dry. Many of these photos have a story that goes with them to express some of the emotion behind the moment, one is below.
Gathered – This collection of buildings is nestled beneath a statue of Jesus that watches over the towns of Teià and El Masnou. We had hiked the mountain on a sunny day in May. As we climbed a hulking cloud the colour of lint crept into view. As we reached the sumit I was sure it would not reach us as the wind whipped fiercely in another direction. As I spoke the words it began to hail on our summery outfits. We laughed as we took shelter beneath a rocky outcrop. Famous last words.
